They are open from Tuesday – Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM. So why not drop in on a Wednesday, go for a bite to eat in Errol Street and then come back to have a good night of improvised theatre.

Coming soon….

With a delightful first season finished with, we here at The Impro Box are eagerly setting up our next season, with two exciting new formats - Return to Sender and Dahl.

Return to Sender logo

Our first format is called Return to Sender. It was devised by Amy Moule. It is set at the basement of the GPO, in the Dead Letter Office. Two workers are assigned to destroy the last remaining letters that were never received. They decide to read them, one last time, before they are eliminated forever. These letters are then used as sparks for scenes by the other players.

Dahl logo, designed by Tom Markovich

Our second format is Dahl, devised by David S. Innes. A writer discovers Roald Dahl’s writing cottage, abandoned for years. However, the writer finds Dahl’s chair, writing board, even his Ticonderoga brand writing pencils and… a freshly made Bloody Mary? The spirit of Dahl, fuelled by audience suggestions, leads to writer to write one more story in the style of Roald Dahl, completely on the spot in front of your very eyes.
